What is Specialist Fix Network NOC?

Specialist FIX Network NOC will be responsible for installation, configuration, and monitoring of network communications equipment including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, software and other network equipment. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 to 3 years experience with large IP network design, deployment and operation management with in depth understanding of IP networking, traffic engineering, routing protocols and IP network QoS techniques.

The role reports directly to the Manager NOC with an extended team of 09 team members

Key responsibilities

o Identification of redundancy with hot standby network availability in Core and Aggregation network

o Coordination with all stakeholders including vendor to optimize network design / solutions.

o Develop a thorough understanding of Dynamic protocols OSPF, ISIS, BGP/MPLS

Key Deliverables

o Ability to build strong relationships with all Teams: Field teams, CS, Device Vendor, SD/CS teams

o Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve Network/Customer issue

o L2/L3VPNs, ExVLANS, Firewalls (SRX/FG/F5/ACE), IPSEC and Traffic Engineering

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Specialist FIX Network NOC?

  • Minimum BSC/BE/BCS degree from an HEC recognized institution with 2 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Previous internship in NOC
  • CCNP / CCIE certification will be preferred
  • Ability to work in 24/7 shifts and without supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and stake holder management skills
  • Team players and optimistic
