Mindstorm Studios has embarked on a mission to catalyze game building in Pakistan. In 2020, the studio conducted its first Summer Program, which till date has received an amazing response of over 6000 applications making it the biggest industry-led initiative in Pakistan. Continuing on the success of last years’ program, we are pleased to announce the Summer Program 2024. 

The Summer Program exposes the students to the game building pipeline including game development, game design and game arts. Through various online live training sessions students would have access to industry experts to learn from. The two months of the program would entail:

Month 1: Exposure to game design, programming and arts through various activities.
Month 2: PARTICIPATION IN ROOKIE GAME JAM 2023, PAKISTAN’S LARGEST GAME JAM FOR STUDENTS

To put learning to practical use, the program also includes mandatory participation in an event called the Rookie Game Jam, in which participants produce a mobile game from scratch. This provides them with the right exposure essential to carve a career and excel in the $220 billion global gaming industry.

Please note that the Summer Program is equivalent to an internship/apprenticeship. M-Labs would fulfil all internship requirements of the students’ universities. Students will get certificates and experience letters on completion of the two month program.
