BNUxDigitalOcean University Program Brief
In collaboration with Beaconhouse National University (BNU), DigitalOcean is launching a unique training program for final-year undergraduates and graduates from any university in Pakistan. This five-month boot-camp at BNU Campus, will cover Linux, Cloud, Web, Systems Programming, and Cloud Deployment. Successful participants may secure a full-time position at DigitalOcean.
How the Program Runs
If selected, the students and graduates will undergo five months of intensive training, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at BNU Campus. The program includes hands-on learning, group projects, and assessments. Successful candidates will transition into a full-time role at DigitalOcean.
Stipend
For five months of initial training at the BNU campus, the trainees will be paid a total stipend of PKR 40,000 (for five months) as TA/DA.
Skill Set Required
DigitalOcean is looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a desire for continuous learning, and an interest in Cloud, Linux, Web, and Systems Programming. Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Education
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields, with a focus on final-year students graduating by June 2024.
