Job Description:
· Understand Next Generations Firewall configurations for security review and provide remediation details.
· Review network diagram to create a tightly restricted network environment.
· Review firewall rules to find overly permissive rules.
· Implement proper network segmentation after reviewing network architecture and firewall configurations.
· Configure Next Generations Firewall to implement security controls.
· Review firewall configuration files of devices like Cisco ASA, FMC, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Pfsense etc.
Requirements:
· Experience with deployment and management of Next Gen Firewall solutions
· Strong understanding of firewalls and servers
· Strong understanding of WAN, LAN, interfaces, protocols, topology, and concepts
· Working knowledge of Cisco ASA, FMC, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Pfsense etc would be beneficial.
Desirable:
· Certifications like CCNA, CCNA Security, FCNSA, FCNSP will be an advantage.
