Our client is one of the world’s largest Contractor (a JV between Hyundai, GS and SK Engineering). They are looking for Staff and Workers for KARBALA REFINERY PROJECT in Iraq. Karbala oil refinery is approximately 100km away from Iraq’s capital Baghdad. The refinery is being built on a 6km² plot of land and will produce liquefied gas, gasoline, gas oil, fuel oil, jet fuel and asphalt. The oil produced at the refinery will meet international standards, equivalent to European production, and serve the growing domestic demand for oil in Iraq. The facility will have a refining capacity of 140,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd). With an estimated investment of $6.04bn, the refinery is expected to begin production in 2023. Technip is providing front-end engineering design (FEED). The Italian engineering firm Saipem, a subsidiary of Eni, is the technical service provider for the process plant.
All Engineers MUST have BE / BSc in Engineering + at least 5 years experience of which at least 2 years MUST be in GCC.
All Supervisors and Foremen MUST have two- or three-years Diploma in Engineering + at least 5 years experience of which at least 2 years MUST be in GCC.
All Technicians MUST have at least ONE year Certificate OR Two- or Three-years Diploma + at least 5 years experience of which at least 2 years MUST be in GCC.
Workers do not need any qualification BUT must have at least 5 years experience of which at least 2 years MUST be in GCC.

Remuneration Details:
- Salary are in US Dollars for 10 hours duty x 6 days a week
- Housing | Food | Transport | Laundry: By Company
- Site: Fully secured MEGA site (6 Square KMs) with ALL facilities inside. Going outside in city is NOT allowed. All nationalities are working inside.
- Leave: 12m for Staff and 18m for workers
