Linux Kernel / Embedded Software Engineer (exp: 0-2 years) – Lahore

Do you want to work on state-of-the-art products, based on Linux Kernel, being designed for emerging fields such as automotive, ultra-speed networking (10/40/100 Gbps), network security, media streaming, virtualization etc, this position is for you then.

Looking for a junior Linux Kernel / BSP Engineer for our Lahore office. Fresh candidates having relevant FYP and good academic records are also encouraged to apply.

Must Have
*Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded platforms
*Understanding of processor architecture, ARM and x86
*Hands on experience of building Linux kernel, drivers and BSP’s
*Know-how of boot-loaders, board bring-ups
*Know-how of debugging kernel modules, drivers etc
*Hands-on experience of profiling tools such as strace, ftrace etc.

Should
*Have solid hands-on experience with RTOS such as Nucleus, ThreadX, FreeRTOS etc
*Have hands-on experience in hardware sensor interfacing
*Have good understanding of Networking & Wireless protocols such as TCP/IP
*Be familiar with PCI drivers
*Be familiar with graphics systems, rendering concepts
*Have working experience of Git usage
*Be driven by results and handling testing associated to the development
*Have good communication skills in English
*Be self-organized, having focused working style
*Have co-operative and persistent attitude
*Be Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / Engineering / Electronics Engineering
*Have know-how of complete software development life cycle
