Responsibilities

• Furnaces: Theoretical and practical study of the science and technology of hardening furnaces, different types of furnaces (e.g., electric, gas-fired) and their control systems for precise temperature management.
• Quenching Media: Types of quenching media (water, oil, air) and their cooling rates.
• Alloys: Understanding how different alloying elements affect the properties and behavior of metals during heat treatment stages like,
• Hardening
• Quenching:
• Sub Zero treatment
• Tempering
• Thermocouples and Pyrometers: Instruments used for temperature measurement and control.
• Time-Temperature-Transformation (TTT) Diagrams:
• Continuous Cooling Transformation (CCT) Diagrams

Requirements

Essential Skills:

·        Strong research skills and proficiency in data analytics.

·        Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to follow-ups.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s in metallurgical and Material Sciences  (BSc) from a PEC recognized university, however, higher Education shall be preferred.

Experience Requirements:

·        Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Heat Treatment.
