Senior Solution & Proposal Engineer for our office in Lahore.(onsite role.Location: PCSIR Society, Lahore

Roles & Responsibilities

Review the RFQ (Request for Quotation) to ensure that the proposed design solution aligns with the customer’s requirements

Possess in-depth knowledge of various PLC/DCS-based control systems (Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, Schneider, Emerson) and SCADA systems, including their specific requirements.

Understand and have experience with site work, including estimation of the construction scope for the installation of control systems.

Perform effort estimation for engineering, construction, and testing activities, and develop a project execution plan that meets the customer’s requirements.

Experience in designing and estimating Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear & MCC’s, AC & DC UPS systems, Transformer Systems, Power Management Systems, VFDs, and Soft Starters.

Have a basic understanding of customized building design and estimation, along with HVAC system design.

Provide support to the sales team to ensure key proposals meet customer requirements and RFQ specifications.

Coordinate and follow up on proposals with the sales team.

Assist the back-office team in obtaining multiple quotes from new and existing vendors.

Develop standard procedures and documentation, including high-level execution philosophy, project plans, design procedures, and commercial terms for customers’ understanding.

Actively engage in business development, negotiating prices, and establishing discount schedules with vendors.

Propose and design optimal control system architectures with expertise in network protocols and design.

Ensure the quality of the product solution meets the defined standards.

Ensure compliance with Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) standards within the respective domain.

Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or in related field

Minimum 6+ years of work experience in engineering or technical sales is required

Sales and Business development acumen

Can-Do & Positive Attitude

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skill
